Aids Walk Star Walkers

On July 15, we were invited to provide our open-air photo booth for the Star Walkers at the AIDS Walk Fundraiser in San Francisco. Laurette Hanna, an event assistant, contacted us last July and we were so excited to be a part of this event.

San Francisco AIDS Walk Photo Booth

The San Francisco Aids Walk is a fundraising walk that took place at the Golden Gate Park. The walk raises funds for dozens of Bay Area AIDS service organizations including ACRIA, Project Open Hand and the Positive Resource Center. Our photo booth was strategically located by one of the tents. With a back drop featuring the AIDS Walk logo and the Macy’s star and a table full of fun props, it was such fun to celebrate the runners and walkers who took part in this year’s event. The most memorable thing that happened, for us, was seeing how everyone had a blast using the photo booth. It was clear that everyone was very excited to be part of a special fundraiser.

As is the case with big fundraising events like this, you get to see a lot of team spirit. Some teams had matching shirts, other teams were in costume. One of the runners even brought a Barbie size Cher! She was all dressed up and ready to run. The runners were extremely pumped, and they went all out in dressing up.

It was such an honor to be a part of this San Francisco fund raising event. We were thrilled to be asked to provide the photo booth. Not only was it a fun time, but it was such a wonderful cause. This year, the walk raised over 1.8 million dollars. It was such an accomplishment. Thank you to the runners, the donors and especially the San Francisco event planners who put this event together.
