When California starts to reopen and allow events to take place again, event professionals like ourselves need to be well-prepared and ready to adapt their processes for the safety of their guests. All of us at Pop Life Photo Booth want to reassure you that we are committed to making your event successful under these unusual circumstances.

After carefully studying and reviewing the CDC, the WHO, and local and state guidelines, it has become clear what we need to do to move forward and be in compliance. Specific steps we are taking will include social distancing, protective equipment, ensuring attendants are not ill, disinfecting our gear, and having our policies visible for your guests.

We have listed in detail below some of the changes that have taken place for your safety. We’re here to help you to make your event the best it could be under current circumstances.  

1. Our Team:

Team members will continue being professional and dress to impress; however, we added some new accessories to their gear. They will begin wearing masks and gloves at all events. If anyone shows any signs of illness or has a fever, they will not be allowed to be present. We will make sure to have several team members available in case we run into this situation.

2. Our Equipment:

At this time, CDC recommends an open-air type of environment. We are fortunate that we carry several outdoor models of photo booths for you to choose from, including our Action Roaming Booth, 360 Booth, Party Booth, and our Retro & Glam Booths. All of our gear is always cleaned and sanitized before and during each event. When your guests send out their digital photos via text or email, our staff will make sure to sanitize our touchscreens every time. 

3. Our Props:

Under the new guidelines, we will not be able to include props with any of our packages. However, we do have other alternative features that will enlighten the experience, such as our digital photo filters, boomerang videos, and fun animated gifs, which we are happy to add at no additional cost. 

4. Our Setup:

The on-site photo booth setup will be reconfigured to maintain a social distance environment. We will have stanchions with temporary tape on the ground marking 6-foot distances. Signs will be posted indicating how to line up for the photo booth experience. Plus, we will encourage the guests not to congregate, but instead, wait till the line is down to a few guests.

In Conclusion

The new normal for future events will have a whole new look and feel until we have a vaccine, but regardless of what challenges we face, we will do everything possible to make your event memorable and fun. Whatever you need, we’re here to help. Your safety and well-being of your guests are our top priorities.
